What you can do with Meu Kumbu
Everything on this page exists in the app today. When something is still on the way, we say so in those words.
The monthly budget
Four sections, one screen
Income, fixed essentials, lifestyle and savings. No jumping back and forth between tabs.
Live summary
Income minus expenses minus savings equals your balance, and the sum redoes itself on every change.
Savings is an allocation, not an expense
What you set aside is still yours. The app treats it as money assigned, not money spent.
From one month to a year
Budgets of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, for anyone who isn't paid on the same day or in the same amount.
Deficit warning
When what you've planned to spend and save exceeds what comes in, the app says so while there's still time to fix it.
Day to day
Transaction entry
Income and expenses, each in its category, with a date and a description.
Groups and detail
Essential, lifestyle and financial in summary; open a group to see where the money went, category by category.
History
The month's transactions in a list, with filters to find what you're looking for.
Sync
Your devices always show the same numbers, with no export step.
Receipt verification
Analysis on the device
The PDF is read on your phone. It doesn't pass through us.
Angolan bank profiles
Each bank generates its receipts the same way every time. That pattern is what the analysis knows and compares against.
An explained result
Not just pass or fail: the app tells you what in the file doesn't add up.
Your account
Profile
Photo, personal details and password changes.
Five languages in the app
Angolan, European and Brazilian Portuguese, French and English.
Account deletion
You delete your account from the app. It is immediate and permanent: your profile, budgets and transactions are erased and cannot be recovered.
What the app does not do
Worth saying now, so there are no surprises after you install it.
- It does not connect to your bank or import statements. The entries are yours to make.
- It does not read photos of receipts to fill in expenses for you.
- There is no desktop version — it is a phone app.
- It does not let several people share one budget.
- It does not track investments, shares or portfolios.
